Making a Will is very important to ensure that your money goes to those you want it to after your death. All our money is "on loan" from God so we must always be wise stewards with it even upon death

|
| |
Your first responsibility is of course to look after your family. But as a Christian you may also want your death to help others to find eternal life like you have.

A legacy to a charity does not need to be a large amount of money as all gifts whatever their size are always very gratefully received

A pecuniary bequest
This type of gift is a fixed amount of money. The disadvantage of this is that because inflation gradually reduces the value of the gift, the will may need regular updating.

A residuary bequest
You can choose to give away a percentage of what is left in your estate (after the deduction of any debts, pecuniary gifts etc.) to different people or charities. These percentages can be as large or as small as you want.
